8 day cycling holiday Ibiza

Ibiza: a cycling paradise

Ibiza is famous all over the world for the lively nightlife in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni de Portmany but still it remains the big unknown. Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea, and is a hidden cycling paradise. The island offers, besides the secluded beaches, authentic villages with white plastered houses and churches and a labyrinth of deserted small roads and lots of fruit trees. The locals are very friendly and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Especially in the north of the island you imagine yourself in a true cycling paradise! At our YouTube-channel you will find a nice impression of this holiday.

  1. We needed it. Cycling in the sun. Leave the winter behind us, welcome the spring. and vitamins. This succeeded excellent during an eight day stay in Ibiza. In a pleasant touring company of other cyclists. Daily tours planned and supervised by Raymond and Rob of Eye4cycling. On rest day without a program, we took, with two other cycling friends, the opportunity to visit the Salt lakes south of the capital town Ibiza. Ibiza was very green, more than normal, because of the many rains this year. Away from the big hotels on the coast, we cycled over good and quiet roads through a pleasant countryside. Nice breaks in small white villages. Raymond had found nice places to drink and eat something. The tourist season was clearly still on the start. That made it extra peacefully. We thought it was a quiet idea that the dancing’s had not opened their gates yet. Against a blue sky especially the white churches protrude nicely. The serene simplicity of the churches charmed me. Finally we ate delicious. And in any case enjoyed after every performance of delicious ice creams. In Santa Eulària des Riu, our home town, the choice and competition between at least four ice-cream parlors was great.
