Sceneries: past and present
The habitat of the Lycians was located globally between the bays of Fethiye and Antalya, surrounded by a mountainous area.
You start in the most southwestern part of ancient Lycia, Fethiye, and cycle northwards to Patara and its ancient site.
Then from the lovely fishing village of Kaş to Finike, known for its many fruit trees and then via the beaches of Adrasan you arrive at the impressive ancient Olympos.
You cycle on good roads and just for a part on unpaved roads. You will cycle through varying nature, picturesque villages and ancient monuments in the landscape.
The routes take you along the beautiful Lycian coastline interspersed with hilly terrain with climbs that are not longer than a few miles.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Breakfast is included, just like dinner at the day of arrival. You have to take your lunch yourself. If you like, you can order a take away lunch at most hotels but along the routes you will also find all kinds of characteristic places to eat.
While you are not required to cycle in groups (this is a self-guided holiday), for safety reasons you do have to cycle in pairs. A representative from Eye4Cycling will be present and available locally. This representative will also arrange each transport of your luggage from one overnight location to the next one.
Please note that you have to arrive on Dalaman Airport and leave through Antalya Airport.
