Sceneries: past and present
The habitat of the Lycians was located globally between the bays of Fethiye and Antalya, surrounded by a mountainous area.
We start in the most southwestern part of ancient Lycia, Fethiye, and cycle northwards to Patara and its ancient site.
Then from the lovely fishing village of Kaş to Finike, known for its many fruit trees and then via the beaches of Adrasan we arrive at the impressive ancient Olympos.
We cycle on good roads and just for a part on unpaved roads. We will cycle through varying nature, picturesque villages and ancient monuments in the landscape.
The routes take us along the beautiful Lycian coastline interspersed with hilly terrain with climbs that are not longer than a few miles.
