See below for an example of some of the routes, the choice is yours!

The Forest route, 40km/650hm

You leave towards the West, to the Calis Beach. And you keep following the coast line.

The First 15 km are flat. After that you go inland towards Kargi. There the road will gradually start descending.

After a few straining kms and a short winding ascend you leave the tarmac and go on through the forest

The next 15-20km goes through an alternate natural area. You will find yourself in a kind of magical forest out of fairytales, with little streams and primeval trees.

The last 5 km off road is through pretty rough terrain with a few straining climbs.

Then you arrive on the way to Uzumlu. Here you can find a place to eat and drink and take some rest. The last part is almost a whole ascend. Back to sea level towards Fethiye.

The Coastal route, 60km/750hm

On this day you are going to make a round trip on the peninsula Karagozler, with its beautiful bays en sea views. For about 20km the road goes up and down. After that we will leave the asphalt for a few challenging kilometres on small descending forest trails.

Afterwards  you go downhill to Uludeniz, this blue lagoon was once the film location of the movie ‘The Blue Lagoon’. From higher up the coastal road you get a great view of the lagoon. Then you will cycle to Kidrak beach, time for lunch and a refreshing dive!

The way back has one big obstacle, ‘The wall of Uludeniz’. For a bit more then 1km, the road ascends around 15%. After the descent you will be in the old Greek abandoned town Kayakoy. In the twenties from last century this town became deserted by a exchange program under Kemal Ataturk. Kayakoy is now registered on the UNESCO list of protected places. The last part is a nice climb of about 3km, before we ascend to Fethiye.

Saklikent ravine route, 115km

Today we ride a solid, long distance route. The gentle hills are hardly worth a mention.

This route will take you through the valley in between Mount Mendos/Babadag and the Akdalar Mountains. It is a really nice ride.

You lunch at Xanthos, one of seven old Lycian Towns, then on towards the sea at Patara. After Lunch you will ride to Saklikent. A beautiful spot that mostly parallels the mountain river.

Saklikent Gorge is famous for its ice cold water ravine. Here we can make stop for a walk in the ravine (through the ice cold water!) or a drink.

After Saklikent you ride the last kilometres back to the hotel in Fethiye.

Yesil vadi (Green valley) route (45km/300hm)

The First part of this route goes all a long the coast until the end of the Calis boulevard. Then you go from the coast to the village of Kargi.

From Kargi you follow the canal all the way to Yesil Vadi.

This is a very nice easy trip with hardly any climbs. The route goes mostly on dirt tracks and you have to cross a few pedestrian bridges.

After the descend you go down to Yesil Vadi.

A great place to have grilled trout for lunch (really good!) While lunch is being prepared you can take a dive in the clear cold mountain water. This is really a beautiful lush green place, a Yesil Vadi Indeed.

After your break you cycle out of the valley back towards the beach to go back to your hotel.

Butterfly valley route, 60km/750hm

The Mine route, 40km/611hm

The mine route is not a very heavy trip. This route goes mostly all along dirt tracks. Through some breathtaking scenery. The first part goes slightly up through a valley filled with little streams. This trip is really a kind of relaxing trip. You will see an old chrome mine taken out of order.

The main thing about this trip is the incredible difference in scenery. In the second part you have a short mean climb of about 2 km. Using your feet or walking is a not a shame here. After that it is just gradually winding up and down, but not really hard anywhere. The last 15 km is just one long descend towards Fethiye.

Cal Dagi route (Boncuk Mountains), 100km/2000hm

During this route you will reach the ‘roof’ of this cycling holiday en will go to a height of 1200mtr. The first 25km go up and down along the coast towards the harbour town of Gocek.

Before Gocek we will go land inwards, the road there goes up pretty steep (until 10%). Small villages we pass are still look like a hundred year ago. Nature and surroundings are from an amazing beauty. Mountain streams, massive rocks en unbelievable views. A beautiful place to have a break for lunch.

After lunch it is just a few kilometres to the highest peak of this cycling holiday. The top of 1200mtr, where you reach the picturesque mountain village Arpacik. There after is your big reward, a long descending to Fethiye of about 25km. For a well deserved dive!
